Louisa loves hosting friends and families where she’ll spoil them with her home-made dishes and great hospitality. Recently she decided to extend her love and open her properties to people who want to experience life away from the city’s hustle bustle and the traditional Balinese life.

Nestled beside the emerald tapestry of Bali's iconic rice fields, these vintage wooden houses offer an unparalleled sanctuary for unwinding, relax, and the perfect weekend escape. Each property exudes a unique charm. The rustic elegance and natural materials of the houses create a warm, grounding atmosphere, perfectly conducive to disconnecting from the everyday and reconnecting with yourself. The facilities in this 3000 sqm property include a common space with kitchen where you can play boardgames, reading books, dining, or just having fun with friends and families. We can arrange BBQ dinner for you at this space. We also provide lunch and dinner but you have to notify us at least one day before. The infinity pool has great view to the rice fields. You can dip in the water while sipping your favorite drinks. We do not have air-conditioning but each room has a ceiling fan. No TV but we provide free broadband internet via wifi. There are only 4 wooden houses in The Manikyang Residence, including these 3 houses. That will give you enough space to wander, meditate or just unwind. Upon request, we can fetch you at the airport or other hotel for a small fee. Should you want to rent a motorbike, the village members will be happy to assist. The Manikyang Residence is tucked inside traditional Balinese village, so please respect the local customs and traditions.

The village of Manikyang is situated in the Tabanan regency at around 183 meter above sea level. It’s a typical Balinese village without cafes, clubs and big restaurants. Beautiful terraced rice fields can easily be found, including several waterfalls and tracking paths.
