The Lantana villa is a modern villa with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, a 10 m swimming pool surrounded by three connected ponds embedded in a semitropical garden. All essentials are there for the exclusive enjoyment of the guests of the villa with daily breakfast served. A personal chef will prepare on order lunch or dinner service and a villa manager will arrange car rental, airport transfers or other amenities for our guests. The owner of The Pondhouse, Lilis & Peter completed the construction of this unique rammed earth wall villa under the guidance of architect Madir Shah in 2023. It serves as their home but guests are more than welcomed to share this architectural marble in a small paradise. All walls were built from local soils and are rammed by hand! Carefully designed shaded porches, the green roofs and natural ventilation system provide a very comfortable interior climate without the use of air conditioning. To ensure environmental friendliness only local construction material were used like stones from surrounding rivers or hills, volcanic sand, bamboo, Indonesian sustainable teak and ironwood, and
