Built in the style of the traditional Balinese Bale, Villa Atas has the absolute best position and best views of anywhere on the island. We are centrally located right in the middle of the local Headland and as we are built proud of the hillside we command views taking in the coast of Bali all the way from Amed right down to Sanur. At night the lights of the local village and the Seaweeders out harvesting twinkle in the foreground against the lights of Klung Kung and mountain roads in Bali. Quite mesmerizing.

Villa Atas is privately owned and is the result of a life long dream. Our staff are young local men who take an active part in their community and have a genuine interest in being proud of their island and its people. As the reviews tell you, we can guarantee you will be well served and sometimes well entertained by these positively charged young people. We feel privileged not only to have been allowed to become part of this community and own this very special piece of paradise but also to be able to share this unique experience with travellers from around the world.

Our Village of Jungut Batu is the bigger of the two villages on the island. Our Headland is the only headland that faces directly north. We have 2 surf breaks Playgrounds and Lacerations right out front and look down the reef to Shipwrecks surf break. This means we are first in the Surf!. Directly in front of the Villa on the boardwalk are 5 restaurants that are open from Breakfast to Dinner. The village and other restaurants are all in walking distance. The Bays of Tamarind and Mushroom are also in walking distance around the small headlands that separate them.
