Brand new 3 storey villa with fabulous views over ricefields & jungle in Penestanan. 3 queen size bdr with AC, ensuites & views, open air living & dining area & full kitchen overlook your 7x3m pool & gorgeous garden & the ricefields & jungle beyond. The 3rd floor yoga & meditation room has views to Mt Agung.
The large open air living, dining & kitchen area overlooks the pool & garden. There is a large couch, tables & chairs on the second floor balcony with views.
A peaceful sanctuary, this beautiful 3 bdr villa is perfect for families, friends and couples to relax, unwind & enjoy your private pool. It's easy to pop into town or explore the celebrated local Penestanan restaurants, arts & culture scene, take a yoga or pilates class, or a classic ricefield walk.
Villa Tenang is a 10min walk - 800m - from the main road, Jalan Penestanan. There is no car access. This is what helps make it such a peaceful location. We collect you & your bags from the road by scooter for check-in. It’s away from hectic central Ubud, but it is still within easy reach - from the main road it’s only 10 mins by scooter or scooter.
Villa Tenang is fully owned by a local Balinese family. Ida manages the Villa on behalf of the family.
Wayan, our charming villa manager, will greet you on arrival with a warm smile and a cold drink. Wayan will help you settle in, and answer any questions you have. Each morning Wayan will make you a delicious breakfast, and clean the villa and pool. At other times, the villa is yours to enjoy in full privacy, but we are only a phone call away. Wayan is always happy to help with any questions or requests to make your stay especially memorable.
Penestanan has a great mix of expats and visitors mingling with the friendly locals. It's a very safe area & conveniently located for easy access to the centre of town, but away from the endless crowds and noise.
There is a vibrant and growing local food, arts and culture scene, and highly regarded yoga spaces & spas.
Within a 5 minute walk of the villa, there are good local restaurants and warungs, and a short walk further will reward you with new & established Ubud favourites, including Alchemy, Sari Organik, Element, La Pacha Mama, Zest & Intuitive Flow yoga.
From the main road, the large Bintang supermarket is only 5 minutes away by scooter or car, and central Ubud is 10 mins.
There are still plenty of ricefields in Penestanan, and you're free to wander, or there are great longer scenic walks nearby, including the Campuhan Ridge walk.
You can get a driver at the taxi/transport hub at the main road to take you anywhere you like. If you’re tired after a long day, you can also get a scooter taxi to take you down to the villa. Scooter hire is also available.
