Local amenities include the Beautiful Waterford Greenway, Comeragh Mountains, Mahon Falls, Local Heritage Trails, Clonea Beach, Coastal Drives, Walking & Cycling Trails, Festivals & Art Trails (seasonal), County Waterford Villages, plus so much more. Hello, Welcome to my listing! My name is Nicola and I am the host of 'Accommodation @ 32'. I have run a hair salon in Dungarvan for the past 30 years which is located next door to our 'Accommodation @ 32' property. I was born and raised in Kilmacthomas village located 20mins from Dungarvan, however the town and it's people captured my heart a long time ago. Dungarvan is a stunning town and I take great pride in bringing guests to experience it for themselves. The town has a wide range of amenities and since the emergence of the Waterford Greenway a couple of years ago, the town has completely transformed and become even more desirable. My husband and I took the decision to create a holiday rental following a shortage of high quality self-catering guest accommodation in the area. We are fully confident that guests will love our property and have recently created the space to meet visitors needs. My favourite thing to do is to scroll around Dungarvan town itself. The town is small but perfectly formed. By day there are beautiful Cafés and Restaurants to enjoy breakfast, brunch or a coffee, lovely little boutiques, take a walk along the harbour and reach Dungarvan Castle. By night there are lots of traditional Irish Bars and Restaurants to enjoy, there is always something happening in the town. Chef Paul Flynn's "Tannery Restaurant" is a famous local haunt, as too is the "Local Pub" for traditional music, "Genoa's Takeaway" a favourite with locals for their chip. Close to 'Accommodation @ 32' is a Dungarvan favourite "Kenneth's" home of Butlers Ice-Cream. For a Coffee & Treat my preference is "The Ormonde Café" located in the Square offering a fantastic selection for fresh pastries and cakes, My favourite amenity on our doorstep is the fantastic Waterford Greenway. I would highly recommend hiring a bicycle in one of the many bike shops in Dungarvan and hitting the Waterford Greenway. The trail I usually take is 23km to my home town of Kilmacthomas where shuttle buses are available if you do not fancy the return trip. You will love Dungarvan town with so much to see and do.
