They are both friendly, kind and interested in many aspects of life and creating a deeper sense of well being, naturally. Both are yoga teachers & therapists. Simon & Eilish are happy to help where needed and guide you along your journey to perhaps experience more out of Abbeyleix and the surrounding countryside. We warmly welcome you to our family home and retreat, nestled on the edge of the wild. Here, you are invited to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and savor the quiet beauty of nature. Our retreat is part of a living landscape, intentionally rewilding to support native plants, animals, bees, and all creatures great and small. Please walk gently here, take your time, and let yourself breathe deeply into the peace of this place. We are an eco-conscious retreat — we use only eco-friendly products and practices, serve vegetarian breakfasts (optional, with love), and offer a yoga studio where you’re welcome to join classes or events. If you have any questions, requests, or need anything at all, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We are so happy to share this sacred space with you.

Abbeyleix is a beautiful heritage town in the south of County Laois full of charm and history. Abbeyleix is blessed to have an abundance of Nature surrounding the town, Heywood Gardens, the Sensory Gardens in the town, Sexton House, the Abbeyleix Bog with over 10km of various designated walkways, Dunmore Woods, Blackhills, St Michael & All the Angels Church, The church of the Holy Rosary, de Vesey Estate, the Heritage House & Museum & an array of good bars, restaurants and cafes to choose from. Then within a short car journey the rest of Laois has the famous Glen Barrow Waterfall in the Slieve Bloom Mountains, the Ridge of Cappard with views across the country, walks, treks and now cycle tracks across the mountain range. The village of Durrow is 10km from us with more cafes, bars and the 5* Hotel & Gardens of Castle Durrow. The Rock of Dunamase is only a 20 min drive and boasts panoramic views of Laois from the top of an Ancient Fort dating back a thousand years! Emo Court is to the north approx 25mins from us with its own lake, walks and a cafe in the beautiful estate house which has tours throughout the day. Kilkenny City is 35 mins, Portlaoise 15 mins, Carlow 30 min
