Situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Knightstown, Geraldine House is the perfect place to stay for your Island getaway. Step out of the front door and you are seconds away from Knightstown Coffee Shop, Boston's Bar, Walsh's shop, the Royal Hotel and The Watch House restaurant, with it's attached Summer water sports centre overlooking the Marina. You are close to the Heritage Centre, the ferry to Renard and the Valentia Transatlantic Cable Station.
A retired gentleman with long standing family links to the Island. I bought the house in 2020. It had lain empty for some years and needed totally renovation with the work finishing at the end of 2022. I look forward to being your host. I have 2 grown up children, 1 in the USA, 1 in Co Wicklow. I walk a lot and have been a daily yoga practitioner for over 40 years. Personal greeting from owner. Guests may contact owner by phone.
Close to car ferry, hotel, pub, local shop, marina, restaurants, park, tennis court, beach, water sports, Valentia Island Lighthouse, scenic viewing points and heritage museums. Within easy drive of Skellig Ring, Portmagee and the Ring of Kerry. Within walking distance of most amenities- free on street parking.
