Welcome to Greenway Cottage, a peaceful countryside retreat just outside the heritage town of Listowel, County Kerry. Nestled beside the River Feale and surrounded by rolling green fields, the cottage offers a tranquil escape while still being conveniently close to local shops, cafés, and attractions. The cottage enjoys direct access onto the Greenway, making it ideal for walking and cycling. The Greenway leads directly into the town of Listowel. In the opposite direction, it offers a scenic route towards Abbeyfeale and on to Limerick.

Hello and welcome! We’re delighted to have you staying at the cottage and want you to feel completely at ease from the moment you arrive. There’s no need to notify us when you get here — simply head straight into the cottage and make yourselves at home 😊 You may hear our dogs barking from time to time. Please don’t worry — they’re very friendly, just curious, and like to announce their presence. They won’t harm you. There are also guests staying in the main house who will be going about their day as well, so you may see them around the property. We hope you have a lovely, relaxing stay and enjoy everything the cottage and surroundings have to offer. 🌿

Listowel is a lively heritage town known for its literary history and warm atmosphere. Highlights include Listowel Castle, the Seanchaí – Kerry Writers’ Museum, the Listowel Racecourse, and a great selection of traditional pubs, cafés, and shops. The Greenway runs directly through the town, making it easy to enjoy scenic walks or cycle routes along the River Feale. The surrounding area offers plenty to explore, including the famous Ballybunion Beach and Golf Links, the Cliffs of Moher via a short ferry trip from Tarbert, and the vibrant town of Tralee, home to the Kerry County Museum and Tralee Bay Wetlands. The cottage is also well placed for day trips to the Dingle Peninsula, with its dramatic coastline, beaches, and mountain scenery.
