Holywell Lodge is located on the North- East shores of Lough Sheelin, in the Kilnaleck area, between Cavan and Ballyjamesduff. We are located on a small working farm. The property itself sits overlooking Lough Sheelin in a parkland setting. A wooded avenue leads you to the lakeshore. Lough Sheelin is renowned for brown trout fishing. We have boats and engines available for hire. You can go walking, cycling, fishing and horseriding in the surrounding countryside. Cavan town is less than 30 minutes drive away. Dublin and its airport can be reached in just over an hour by car.
