Jay's Cabin is a simple and unique space, perfect for anyone looking to unwind and explore the heart of West Cork. Situated close to the market town of Skibbereen and the picturesque village of Castletownshend, guests will never be far from the many beaches and hikes dotted around this area. ***About the Cabin*** The cabin is peaceful; surrounded by fields and gardens. It has two open-plan bedrooms, a loft bed, kitchen/dining area, bathroom. Outside there is a veranda, outdoor dining area, garden and kids' play area. (The garden and play areas are shared with the host's family). Come and explore West Cork at Jay's Cabin!
***About Jamie & Fola*** We have been hosting Jay's Cabin for nearly 4 years now in other spaces and have earned a respectable 4.9 star rating on another popular bnb site!. We have two kids, Lia (5) & Rory (2). They are always excited to see new guests (read: children) arrive. We enjoy hiking, reading and eating out. Jamie enjoys playing guitar. Fola likes to potter in the polytunnel. We hope to see you at Jay's Cabin sometime soon!.
***About the Neighborhood*** The area is peaceful and idyllic. There's lots to do around here, with many beaches, hikes, cycle tours, whale watching, kayaking. All guests receive a guidebook, written by the hosts, showing areas of note, restaurants, and things to do in West Cork.
