Killeena has been welcoming guests for thirty years. We have twelve holiday homes, some one bedroom and some two bedroom, suitable for couples and for family groups. Guests will enjoy a "secret" hideaway of natural beauty and birdsong with woodland pathways and gardens. Away from the hustle and bustle of towns and villages, Killeena is a unique and magical haven in the South West of Ireland. All our cottages are provided with cotton towels and bed linen and only natural products are used in our cleaning service. Staying with us offers an opportunity to unwind, find space and time for yourself in a home away from home.

Killeena House and its self catering holiday homes are grouped together in four acres of gardens alongside the river Illen. We are located in Creagh, Baltimore,about half way between Skibbereen and Baltimore village. Just a few steps from our gardens, a bridge will take you onto Inish Beg island. Restaurants, bars and shops are less than a ten minute drive as are golfing, sailing, fishing and whale watching. Ours is a quiet and beautiful setting from which you can access the landscapes and attractions of Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way.

Neighborhood info

We are very close to Lough Hyne, a marine lake and reserve that is famous for its bioluminescence. Starlight kayaking trips are possible here or, you might prefer to head out by ferry from Baltimore pier and visit the islands or view the whales sometimes visiting our shores. West Cork is also well known for its food ranging from wonderful fresh fish even from our takeaways to Michelin starred restaurants in Baltimore and Ballydehob. Bantry House and the Heritage Centre in Skibbereen offer avenues into Ireland's culture and history. And, whether you travel by bike, boat or car West Cork offers vistas of wild landscape of extraordinary beauty.
