The Loop Head Lighthouse Attendant's Cottage was originally the home of one of the attendants who helped the Lighthouse Keeper tend the light. The cottage was extensively renovated in 2024 and the interior was designed to provide modern comforts whilst preserving the history of the building. It has wonderful views of the Atlantic from the back windows and garden, a fully fitted modern kitchen with all of the appliances that you would expect, a cosy lounge diner with a flat screen TV, 3 lovely bedrooms, a reading room/study and a beautiful bathroom with sea views. Every room has been syled with great attention to detail and there is wifi throughout. Note that the bedrooms are laid out as double rooms, 2 of the rooms have 5 foot beds and the other a 4 foot bed with a futon. The property is in the compound of the Lighthouse and from July to September complementary guided tours of the Lighthouse are included in the price.
