The Cottage is located in Tipperary in the heart of the countryside just 5 minutes outside of Upperchurch Village which is famous for its hill walks. Located in a extremely peaceful and tranquil setting. The perfect getaway from Urban life. 18KM to Thurles with its rail network covering all Ireland. Limerick 40 mins drive and just under an hour from Shannon Airport. Nearby is the Famous "Jim O' the Mills Bar",
The famous Jim of the Mills Pub is located only 5 minutes down the road. Upperchurch is well known for its beautiful hill walks and scenic views and its Hospitality. Upperchurch is a small village with 3 pubs with wonderful food available at the Famous Paddy Kinnanes Bar on request , it is also home to the famous "Ned of the Hill" and has a vast amount of Hill walks as well as a climbing wall. We have a vibrant rural community and a Tourist office in the village with information of all local and county attractions. from the village there is a bus running twice daily to and from Limerick City.
