Late 18th century gate lodge to the larger Rathjarney Villa which is set in woodland with a private garden and pond. Peaceful and tranquil location with wildlife and fauna to enjoy. Our pond is an oasis of dragonflies, frogs and visiting birds. Guests are welcome to sit by it and use the garden room should they wish.
Both hosts have a keen interest in hospitality and are committed to providing great stays for all guests. We love meeting new people and are more than happy to help with any questions you might have during your stay in the lodge.
Conveniently situated only 15 minutes from the Rosslare ferry port and 10 minutes from Rosslare Strand. Only 7 km from lovely beaches, Wexford town and a host of beautiful historic gardens, houses and places of interest. Just 2 miles from Johnstown Castle with all its attractions. Rathjarney was once part of the Castle estate in the 18th century. The castle offers lakeside walks, an agricultural museum, beautiful gardens as well as tours of the castle. The lovely cafe is open 7 days a week.
