Rose Cottage is the perfect countryside getaway. Nestled in the rolling hills of Donegal, this charming 100 year old cottage has been newly renovated to blend traditional charm with modern comfort. It boasts breathtaking views and is close to local villages and stunning beaches. The cottage has two comfortable bedrooms, a inviting living room, and a well-equipped kitchen, as well as a private garden where you can wind down after a busy day sightseeing, soaking up the natural beauty of the area.
I'm an energetic do it your self kind of person, I'm interested in a variety of hobbies and Donegal has been my home since I was a child. I loved to travel when I was younger so I enjoy opening my home to travelers who like/need their comfort when exploring our beautiful hills.
Rose Cottage is nestled into a back country lane it does have neighbors but this does not interupt the quiet country atmosphere. The lane itself is part of a 2km loop perfect for a stroll or bikes and it also leads onto a cycle path which you can use to access Glenties and if you're feeling adventurous Dungloe! We are also based along the Wild Atlantic Way and are in walking distance from an entrance to the Blue stack way. Ardara is just 6 km away and you have multiple beaches and other walk withing 10/15 minutes driving. Other activities available include: Surfing horse riding on the beach beach yoga mini golf/ Narin golf links Numerous distilleries Sliabh Liag/ Glenveagh National Park/Mount Errigal/Gleann Cholm Cille/ Ards Forrest and the famous Murder Hole beach are all aprox 45 mins drive away as well so plenty to keep you busy!
