Company info

I love country life and in particular camping, glamping and weekend breaks which is why we set up The Old Forge Glamping and the Granary. We have pet horses, dogs, chickens and a donkey called Ned who loves roaming around the farm. Sitting around a campfire on a beautiful summer evening is one of the greatest things one can do, it's totally relaxing and we love meeting people. We will accommodate our guests needs and are living on site.

The property was once the home of the late Christabel Bielenberg, a bestselling author, and has a rich history. It was also visited by William Gladstone as a model farm, and the family has a fascinating story. This is a working farm with sheep, hens, horses, ponies, dogs, and cats. .
