Our house is six minutes from M7 motorway, 1 hour from Dublin. The property is centrally located in the midlands of Ireland and is 5 minutes from Abbeyleix Heritage town which offers a stunning award winning board and bog walk, Morrisseys famous Irish Bar, and Bramley's private dining room which is a Michelin listed neighbourhood restaurant. The house is 35 minutes from medieval Marble City Kilkenny, 30 minutes from Kildare Village Shopping Outlet and National Stud, and 20 minutes from the Slieve Bloom Mountains which offer quiet, wild bog land, forests, waterfalls, wildlife, walking and bike trails. We are 1 hour 10 from Limerick City and 1 hour 30 from Galway City.
This is a beautiful and quiet part of Laois we are 12 minutes outside county town Portlaoise and are walking distance to our local Village Raheen which has stunning views from the top of the hill in the village. Doogue's bar is the social outlet for the village and we have a beautifully restored church and a GAA field. There is a fantastic 5 km walk through farmland an unmatched country walk.
