Why not upgrade your stay in the area to this exclusive residence. Live even better than a local in this massive house, only minutes away from local attractions such as Neven Maguire's MacNean House and the 'Stairway to heaven'. With a spacious kitchen and five large bedrooms, families or groups of friends will want to sprawl out after exploring this beautiful area or an exquisite food experience @Nevens. Wainsfort House has that homely feel, and you can certainly rely on it to be meticulously clean and maintained. Guests will have access to the whole house. Please note there is a separate accommodation underneath the main house with its own entrances. We are close by to help you with any local information for your stay in our beautful area.
We are only minutes away from local attractions such as Neven Maguire's MacNean House, the Marble Arch Caves and the 'Stairway to Heaven'. The Cavan Burren Geopark is also a short drive away, giving guests a wide range of outdoor activities to do. A couple of nice things to do…. MacNean House - Neven Maguire gives a masterclass in food and hospitality Burren Geopark - Perfect for that sunday morning walk. It has various routes (3/5/10km). It is located circa 10-15minute drives up into the hills. Unbelievable views of Cavan,Fermanagh,Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal on a clear day. Follow the Cornagee road for best views. Cuilcagh 'Stairway to Heaven’ - A much longer walkup Cuilcagh mountain via a boardwalk Marble Arch Caves - Only open at certain times of year. There is an outdoor playground situated at Lough Maclean roughly a mile from the house along the main N16 The Glencar Waterfalls are just 30 minutes away, and towns such as Enniskillen (17km), Bundoran (35km), Sligo (45km, Carrick on Shannon (40km) provide a range of local options for day trips.
