At Wayside B & B we look forward to getting to know our guests and ensuring they have an enjoyable stay.We provide all the information they need and can book all tours.Breakfast is cooked fresh to order,with all local poduce.The house is situated in a very peaceful lake mountain district with striking views of Irelands Highest, Mountain.It is a walkers paradise.The Gap of DUNLOE is just 1km away also Kate Kearneys cottage pub and restaurant which serves great food at a very reasonable price.From theGap Of Dunloe you can climb Strickeen or walk to the top of the Purple Mountain, then on to Tomies Mountain.The Mc Gillicuddy Reeks are Irelands highest mountain range.They stretch from the Gap Of Dunloe in the East to Glencar in the West. Magnificent flora and fauna can be found in this area,including the White Tailed Eagle

`Both Eugene and I love music song and dance ,especially traditional Irish music and ballads.Eugene is a professional photographer.We also love walking ,gardening and Eugene plays the occasional game of golf.He is also a professional tour guide with a wealth of local knowledge.

Wayside B&B is situated near the beautiful Gap of Dunloe, a stunning glaciated valley with the Mac Gillycuddy Reeks to the west and the Purple mountain to the east. This area of considerable natural beauty is well served by amenities such as horse riding, hiking trails, golf and much more.
