Westgate House B&B Strokestown is located at the gates of Strokestown Park House. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a TV. Featuring a shower, private bathrooms also come with free toiletries. Extras in some rooms include and writing desk and ironing facilities. Located in the heart of County Roscommon's Lake lands, staff can arrange your complete fishing trip (for Pike or Trout) including guide, boat accommodations transport and packed lunch. Storage facilities are also available. There are several excellent golf courses nearby, including Strokestown, Carrick-on-Shannon and Longford. Tee times can be arranged. Strokestown is conveniently located on N5 Dublin to Westport Road. 90 minutes's drive from Dublin and only 50 minutes from Knock Airport.

Our property is over 200 years old with the original mozaic floor still in the hall way. Built as a hotel by the Pakenham Mahons to accommodate their visiting guests to Strokestown Park House.
Gerry and Marilyn look forward to welcoming our guests to Westgate House. If you have any special needs or dietary requirements please let us know.
There are lots of Festivals coming up in our Area. The County Fleadh is on over Easter in Elphin just down the road. With our own Easter Parade taking place on Easter Sunday. We have the Strokestown Poetry Festival in May and the Irish Famine Summer School in June and Please contact us for details
