Property info

An old farmhouse set in a peaceful place surrounded by rolling countryside. As a host I will provide a warm welcome into a home that has a special atmosphere filled with character. The bedrooms and kitchen are spacious and comfortable while there is also a garden and patio area to relax in.

Neighborhood info

The property is in the country while at the same time it is only 2 miles from Athy. Athy has a train station on the Dublin-Waterford line. Athy is a designated heritage town. The River Barrow and the Grand Canal run through Athy and are excellent places for walking. The major towns of Carlow, Portlaoise and Newbridge are within a 30 min drive. The National stud, Japanese Gardens and the Curragh race course are about 20 mins away. Overall Athy is a great location for anyone travelling from anywhere in Ireland as it is close to the M7 and M9 motorways and is approximately 45 miles from Dublin.
