Hidden Haven is our premium studio suite which blends old world Goa style aesthetics wit modern world comforts. The location is approximately 100 kms from Bhimashankar Temple by road. The apartment is on the second floor and has a unique sloping roof reminiscent of traditional Goan houses. The interior décor is charming and based on an antique theme with colors and motifs that bring joy as well as nostalgia.

We are a Mumbai based couple with roots in Goa. We manage and host at our century old colonial house in Moira, Goa and are charmed by the aesthetics of old Goan houses and villas. We are both engineers by qualification, Mandar works with an airline ,while Maya is a professional baker with interests in food technology. Hidden Haven started out as a weekend getaway for both of us as a means of getting out of the city and into the arms of mother nature. This humble abode was slowly fitted out with antique furniture not unlike the kind that graced our Goan house and took it's current shape as a miniature cozy nook that transported us staight into our childhood days. We enjoyed our stays at this tiny home and would like to share the joy with other couples and children. In our tiny apartment , you will sense our attention to detail right away. We have put our heart and soul into creating this wonder and we are proud of it. Our son Mohnish absolutely loves the balcony and can sit there for hours trying to spot the windmills on the mountains as they peek out from the blanket of clouds as they descend from the cliffs. Situated far and away from the tourist hustle-bustle of Karjat and Matheran, yet close enough to be accessible , Hidden Haven has a unique geographical location that allows unrestricted hill view and co-existence with nature at the same time. In the monsoons , do plan time for a visit to the Solanpada Dam to watch the cascading waters. There are restaurants nearby that deliver lip-smacking food including local Maharashtrian fare. There are menus of several restaurants available in the room and delivery is reliable and precise though a little delayed due to the distance involved. The inhouse restaurant makes good snacks and is well known for pakoras and other fried snacks. It is run and managed by local staff and does well with simple orders only.
