The first floor of Inayat is yours entirely ( I stay with my family and our baby pet on the ground floor). It has two cozy bedrooms where soft light streams in through the windows, inviting slow mornings and restful nights. A spacious drawing room sits at the heart of the home, a place to read, work, or simply stretch out and unwind after a day of exploring Dehradun. The kitchen, simple yet functional, carries everything you need to cook a meal or brew a cup of tea, turning everyday moments into small rituals. A private bathroom with a continuous supply of hot water ensures your comfort, while the terrace becomes a gentle pause in your day- the perfect corner for morning chai, evening conversations, or simply watching the world slip by. What makes Inayat truly special is the way it balances privacy with presence. While our family lives downstairs, the first floor remains entirely yours, with complete independence. It’s the kind of space where you can feel at home without being alone, where comfort and simplicity come together to make your stay both easy and memorable.

I am Surbhi, born in the beautiful valley of Dehradun. I’m a designer by profession and a traveler at heart. After years of working, I quit my job to follow my passions - solo travel and building something of my own. Uttarakhand has always been my love, and Inayat is my way of sharing a little piece of that love with others. I enjoy conversations over chai, experimenting with cooking, taking on DIY projects, and discovering new places.

Inayat is set in one of Dehradun’s green residential societies, a peaceful corner in the heart of the city. Tree-lined lanes and open spaces make the neighborhood calm and refreshing, yet you’re never far from the buzz. The famous Forest Research Institute is just 10-12 minute drive. Cafes and eateries are nearby, and popular attractions like IMA and Robber’s Cave are a short drive away. The Dehradun Railway Station is about 12-15minutes by car, while ISBT is a 15 minute drive, making arrivals and departures easy. If you’d like to explore the wider city, there are plenty of rental options for cars and two-wheelers nearby, making it simple to see Dehradun at your own pace.
