Mugilu is place to be one with nature. It is exclusively for Families and Couples. A place for the responsible traveller, Mugilu offers rooms overlooking a natural coffee plantation turned into a forest with native trees of the western ghats. Mugilu attracts huge numbers of birds, butterflies, moths, insects and frogs, some of them endemic to the western ghats. Guests can choose to simply chill amidst nature or walk around the many trails in and around the property. Mugilu is the most sought after homestay for birding in Sakleshpur.
Mugilu has been our home for the last 13 years. Having been in the city all our lives, we decided to lead a simple life amidst nature opening our place to like minded people. We make sure Anand and our team of dedicated staff will take good care of you at Mugilu.
Sakleshpur is a small hilly town in Hassan district of Karnataka. Mugilu is situated in a village called Bugadahalli, 15km from town centre. We are surrounded by hills, valleys, meadows, paddy fields, coffee estates and small streams. Guests can simply chill, walk around the many trails or see the attractions like Manjarabad fort, Bisle view point, Mallahalli falls, honnamana kere, Shettihalli church and many more.
