The English later settled here for tea and rubber cultivation, and our property once served as a golf field – remnants of which still remain. 🌿 Nestled on the banks of the Manimala River, the stay offers direct river access, safe even for kids to swim and play. Rooms are designed to give you stunning river views and a true nature escape, not the city hotel feel. We provide 2 non-AC double rooms (cool enough during monsoons & winters) with essential amenities, focusing on family stays, home food, and pure tranquility. Located just 13 km from Mundakayam, Yendayar is soon to be connected by a new road cutting the Vagamon drive to 20 mins. Until then, the current route through the Western Ghats is a paradise for off-roading and adventure seekers. Nearest airport: Cochin International Airport (3 hrs).

In 2016, I started this homestay out of my passion for nature and hospitality, and since then, I’ve had the joy of welcoming guests from around the world. My goal is to ensure you feel the unlost rhythm of pure nature here in Yendayar, where the mountains meet the Manimala River. I look forward to hosting you and making your stay memorable.
The name “Yendayar” comes from Tamil “En Thaai Aar” meaning “My Mother River.” Nestled in the lush foothills of Vagamon, this land is blessed with waterfalls, river streams, and the soothing rhythm of nature. Our stay is a true homestay experience – guests live with the family and enjoy fresh, home-cooked food (check our reviews on Google 🌿). During your stay, you can explore three waterfalls originating from the Western Ghats, enjoy off-road jeep rides, or even try tent camping in the hills. This is a family-oriented retreat, best suited for families and married couples seeking peace, nature, and authentic Kerala hospitality
