Hi I'm Unnikrishnan C P, a retired senior executive from Indian oil industry. The property listed here is the childhood home where I was born & brought up in the 1960s and 1970s. I have renovated this property to present it as a Heritage Homestay. I welcome you to experience a slice of life in rural Kerala.

Property info

Vilayara , which translates to House of Harvests is in a typical Kerala village. A place of idyllic charm spread over 5 acres nestled amongst paddy fields and coconut palms. Built in 1950, it is a three tiered mansion with a sloping roof and made with laterite and wood. Here you can wake up to the chirping of birds, eat locally grown traditional food, and practice yoga/meditation in the lap of nature. Other attractions are Indoor Board Games, Trekking, Cycling, Angling, Boating in the nearby river and Ayurvedic Massage.

Neighborhood info

The neighborhood is sparsely populated with a few houses, but mainly consist of open spaces and cultivated fields. As is the case in rural Kerala, this will allow guests to explore the neighborhood by foot or bicycle. This is a calm & quiet place with minimum vehicular traffic and hence a scenic retreat from busy city life.
