Our names are Baldur & Díana, the owners of Dalshöfði Guesthouse and our hosts We used to live in Hafnarfjörður in the capital area but took over the guesthouse in 2017

We are a family run guesthouse with 4 twin rooms and 1 single room with shared facilities. All the rooms in the guesthouse have a sink and then there is the shared facilities that are 2 bathrooms with shower, fully eqviped kitchen where the guests can cook their own dinner and a dining room. We also have 2 private apartments, One bedroom apartment for 3 persons and Two bedroom apartment for 5 persons.

Neighborhood info

Guesthouse in the southeast of Iceland, close to varied interesting attractions. The farm is located in splendid and beautiful surroundings, 5 km (3 mi) from the Ring Road, and a short distance from the regions of main attractions. The lava field produced during the massive eruption Skaftareldar of 1783 are a prominent trait of the lowlands, whereas moors and highlands are a smorgasbord of Icelandic nature, shaped by ice and fire. We are open all year. Interesting sights to visit from Dalshöfði are Skaftafell, Vatnajokull national park 72 km Jokulsarlon 106 km Lomagnupur 10 km Fjarðaragljufur 32 km Lakagigar 82 km Nearest restaurant is only 9 minutes away Nearest supermarket is 20 minutes away
