The magnificent view over the glacier lagoon towards Vatnajökull Glacier, the largest glacier in Europe is sure to impress even the most experienced traveler! Only two boats are available, so grab this rare opportunity only available to few! Aurora Hut is a ground-breaking eco-friendly boat with glass walls and ceiling. Each boat can accommodate two persons in a double bed. The boats are designed with comfort and style in mind. Glass walls and glass ceiling offer an exceptional view from inside. The boats are fitted with a composting toilet, small kitchenette, electricity, and Wi-Fi. Please note that there are no shower facilities available on location.

Fjallsarlon Glacier Lagoon is one of the most astonishing natural phenomenal found in Iceland. Although slightly smaller than Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon it is just as impressive. It is a hidden gem! During summer appreciate the 24-hour daylight and throughout spring and autumn admire the pristine landscape as twilight falls. Please note that you will be taken to the Igloo boat by a zodiac boat (summer & shoulder season). The hut floats on the lagoon so you will not be able to go on land during your stay! During winter enjoy stargazing and search for Northern lights from inside the warmth of the hut. During winter the huts will be located on the ice, your transfer is by a 4×4 vehicle.
