We have been here since 2019. We care deeply about the authenticity of these traditional Mongolian yurts. Each piece of the yurts is made by two families in Mongolia and brought to Iceland. The grain of the Siberian Pine and Larch is so beautiful that we have kept the wood natural. We care to share this love of ours with you.

Welcome to Náttúra Yurtel. Built-in Mongolia, our yurts offer a year-round glamping experience in the heart of the Golden Circle. The intimate site consists of ten yurts, two large yurts and a separate toilet and shower block. All are designed to bring together a uniquely comfortable, and affordable experience. Each spacious yurt is 6m in diameter, has electricity, a plumbed toilet, a sink with hot and cold water, and comfortable chairs. There is a small fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities. Linen and towels are provided.

Neighborhood info

Located in sight of Geysir and only a short drive, horse ride or walk from the incredible waterfalls of Gullfoss, Nátúrra Yurtel has one of the best locations in all of Iceland. Staying at the yurtel enables visiting these sites at the best time of day, and before the day-trippers arrive from Reykjavik. In the summer months, when the sun does not set, many guests choose to visit Gullfoss after dinner. Being the only people at Iceland’s greatest waterfall around midnight is an unforgettable experience.
