The B&B "A due passi dal mare" is a small, family-run B&B located on the second floor of an apartment building just a few meters from the public beach and the Caulonia Marina seafront. Here are a few important details to help you prepare: 🕒 Check-in: Available from 2:00 PM. Please let us know your estimated arrival time so we can welcome you in the best possible way. If you prefer, or in case we’re not available at the time of your arrival, you can check in independently with our self check-in option. 🕚 Check-out: By 11:00 AM. (it's not a rigid timetable 😉​) 🧴 Room amenities: Each room comes with towels, shower gel, hairdryer, and all essentials for a comfortable stay. Cleaning is done daily, Bed linen is changed every 3 days. 🏠 Important note: All our rooms are located on the second floor of a building with NO ELEVATOR. 🚗 Parking: You can park for free on a private road right in front of the building entrance. 🥐 If you choose to include BREAKFAST in your 2026 booking: - From May 9th to September 19th, a self-service buffet breakfast is served on the upper floor from 8:00 to 10:00 AM. - From September 20th to May 8th, you’ll receive vouchers to enjoy breakfast (croissant + drink) at our partner cafés.

WELCOME TO OUR HOUSE! We are Domenico and Gessica. We've known each other since high school and have been together for over 13 years. Our story is one of growth, change, travel, and shared dreams. Domenico is a biomedical engineer, Gessica is a hairdresser and theatrical makeup artist. Two different paths, but with the same way of looking at things: with curiosity, attention, and the desire to build something meaningful. For a few years, we lived in Milan, an intense and frenetic city that taught us so much, but didn't fully reflect our way of experiencing life. It was there that we understood how important it is for us to slow down, travel, and be inspired by world cultures. We chose to return to Calabria, to experience our region with different eyes. From this return, our B&B "A due passi dal mare" was born. It's the place where Domenico grew up, full of memories and life experiences. In 2017, when he moved house, he couldn't leave it. So we chose to give it a new look. No longer just a home, but a place to share. A place where the sea accompanies the days and time slows down. Here, every detail stems from a simple idea: Make you feel good.

You will be able to relax on the large free beach with few people even in high season, you will feel like you are on a desert island! With a few minutes' drive you can reach the wild Calabrian hinterland, Caulonia is located between the two wonderful parks of Serre and Aspromonte, you are spoiled for choice! And if you are thinking of an ON THE ROAD trip? Well, we are exactly halfway between GERACE, STILO and BADOLATO, villages included in the list of the most beautiful in Italy, all reachable in less than 45 minutes by car. Furthermore, the magical Tropea, Scilla and Reggio Calabria are also less than 1h30m away by car.. Get intimate with the territory, you will realize that in addition to natural and cultural beauties, Calabria is above all a land of hospitality, authentic traditions and cuisine that makes you dream.
