A Casa da Agata is a charming home set in the middle of the stunning Valdarno Tuscany countryside - a peaceful retreat where you can truly slow down, disconnect, and recharge. Located just outside Loro Ciuffenna, at 600 meters above sea level, the house enjoys a scenic position overlooking the valley. The air is fresh and pure, carrying the scent of lavender and wildflowers, and the rhythms of life here are as gentle as the hills that surround it. Our charming house offers only two rooms, ensuring tranquility, privacy, and the gentle sounds of nature instead of other guests. The garden & large terrace with a breathtaking view over the valley are perfect for enjoying an al fresco breakfast or sipping an aperitif at sunset. The house was completely renovated in 2016 to host up to six guests. The bedrooms are bright, quiet, and furnished with antique touches. Large, comfortable beds with soft sheets and plump pillows ensure a peaceful night’s sleep, while free Wi-Fi and thoughtful details make your stay relaxing and easy. Every morning, a homemade breakfast is prepared with fresh, seasonal local products. You can also request a lunch or dinner made from local ingredients and vegetables from the garden, or order a cooking class to learn how to make delicious fresh pasta. We also have our bee farm and a chiken coop for fresh eggs. We welcome guests all year round. From September 15th we light the fireplace - a cozy corner where you can read, share a glass of wine, or simply relax by the fire. Autumn is colorful and rich with the scent of fallen leaves; the forest, just a 5-minute walk away, invites you to gather mushrooms or take quiet walks 🏵️🍯🥮🍁. In winter the house remains warm and inviting, with Lorenzo, the host, living on-site year-round to welcome guests as if they were old friends. Hi, I'm Lorenzo. I was born in Montevarchi and a few months ago I moved to this beautiful country house in Loro Ciuffenna together with my furry friends, Chuck the dog and Gala and Cruccio the two cats. I have known the previous owner for years now and I have seen the time, care and dedication she dedicated to this place, I limited myself to bringing the bees there in the summer months. I like getting my hands dirty and I can't wait to help you discover this little-known corner of paradise in the middle of Tuscany. I have a farm that produces honey, extra virgin olive oil and iris. I love being in contact with nature, trekking a lot with my trusty Chuck and gardening behind the house, so as to always have fresh products at hand. I don't have as much time to travel as far as I would like and I love the idea of ​​a piece of the world coming to visit me in my home! I will welcome you personally upon your arrival and will be at your disposal during your stay for any need. A casa da Agata is perfectly located between the Arno river and Pratomagno, 6 kilometers off Loro Ciuffenna, a cosy medieval village member of The Most Beautiful Italian Villages Club. There literally is something for everyone from strolling along the winding alleys overhanging the clefts of the Ciuffenna river, to visiting places such as Le Balze, unique and evocative geological formations of clay and sand or the Gropina church, masterpiece of the romanesque architecture and a Tuscan hidden gem. In the area public transports are very limited. The use of your own car is strongly recommended. From Loro Ciuffenna you will find frequent bus connections to Arezzo and the nearest railway stations of Montevarchi and San Giovanni Valdarno (from where you can easily reach Florence).
