Loro Ciufenna has everything you expect when traveling Italy: a small historic center with a small river floating through it; a pizzeria, and last but not least the best ice cream in Tuscany at Gelateria Al Ponte🇮🇹 All well know cities and sights are reachable within 1h or less drive ( Firenze, Arezzo, Sienna, Cortona, The Mall, Chianti Wine Areas)
We stayed at Agriturismo Antico Borgo Poggitazzi which is only 10 minutes drive away from Loro Ciufenna.

The staff was very friendly and gave the property a family feeling. One person spoke English and was very available to assist.
The interior and decoration could definitely be freshened up though it has its charm as a family hotel without pretense.
The swimming pool is definitely a bonus after a hike on the mountain.
The location right on the trail was clearly the main reason we stayed here.

Beautiful Agriturismo property, full of character, the owners were delightful and most helpful. I needed a ground floor room,because of mobility problems, which was spacious, clean and nice kitchen facilities. Wonderful views and great swimming pool. I could park my car and easily reach Loro Ciuffenna for cafes (highly recommend Forno Canu). Can’t wait to return.

Teresa and her team are professionals- they know how to run a hotel. Stay here, you will not be disappointed. We would recommend 3 to 4 days to really appreciate the facilities , surroundings and the breakfast! Book the cooking class- it’s a true Tuscan experience. This is a stay you will remember long after you have gone- wonderful.

Very nice small hotel, in a village in Tuscany near the "pratomagno". Francesca, the owner, is well coming and attentive to every detail, she prepares a good breakfast on your demand. I suggest staying on the little balcony at the back of the hotel in the morning, it is shadowy and quiet with a nice view of the "mill".

We love our stay. The apartment was big and comfortable. The surranding is so nice, with the river and waterfall, where you can jump and swim. Short walking distance to the beautifull little town Loro Ciuffenna. Great place for the dogs as well. We would like to go back.
