Company info

Ancient maps show that the farm dates back to the 15th century. The current owners have been running it for almost one century. In the past the landscape included green fields, lines of trees and vineyards. Nowadays rice, corn and soya organic are cultivated and processed in the farm (Azienda Agricola Mora) which belongs to the group of biological producers. Nevertheless, the original environment is preserved, as much as possible.

Cascina Mora is a farmhouse located about 3 km from the town center of Pavia, where the town meets the country in the natural Park of the Ticino river. It is less than 2 km away from the new University campus, from the main hospitals and from the Eucenter laboratories, supermarkets and bus stops. Country roads, organic cultivated fields, trees and water canals characterise the landscape which is not yet contaminated by modern technology. In the farmhouse one can find a relaxing and peaceful place, perfect also in times of forced isolation. We are pleased to welcome our guests personally but offer also the possibility of autonomous checkins and checkouts at any time of the day.

Neighborhood info

Cascina Mora suggests its guest the possibility of making interesting excursions, that can be pleasantly made also by bike, in the surrounding territory: the Certosa monastery and the Naviglio canal, the Via Francigena, abbeys between Milan and Pavia, hills and winecellars in the Oltrepo Pavese area. Last but not least, less than a couple of kilometers from the farmhouse, the Pavia Museum of Electrical Technology offers adults and children the possibility of making a unique historical excursion through the wonders of electrical technology.
