Edmondo, Luigia, and Simona: we are three siblings united not only by blood ties but also by a deep passion for the land inherited from our family. Growing up among the wonders of the Cilento region, we have learned to breathe, appreciate, and value what nature offers that is good, beautiful, and healthy. The story of La Petrosa began in the 1950s when our grandparents, with vision, courage, and determination, purchased a fascinating 19th-century castle and the surrounding land. That dream, cultivated with dedication, passion, and sacrifice, gave life to what we are proud to represent and present to guests today. We fondly remember our childhood spent drinking fresh milk from the cows and enjoying bread made with ancient grains. In the 1980s, the company was inherited by our parents, Giulio Cesare and Gianfranca, who kept the tradition alive, enriching it with new visions and ideals. Today, as ambassadors of Cilento and proud champions of regenerative organic agriculture, we guard and preserve this heritage. As we look to the future, we never forget our roots, which represent the strength and dignity of La Petrosa. Welcome to La Petrosa, where family history intertwines with a passion for the land. All our products come from our own crops and herds, cultivated and raised with full respect for nature, people, and animals, following the principles of Organic Regenerative Farming. The farmhouse is the heart of La Petrosa, a beautifully restored building now serving as a charming small hotel with six rooms. One room is accessible for guests with disabilities. All rooms are located on the first floor, accessible via external stairs. For guests with wheelchairs, an electric stair lift is available. Each room features independent air conditioning, mosquito nets, and a private bathroom with a shower, WC, bidet (absent in room Claudia), washbasin, wall-mounted hairdryer, and soap/shower-shampoo dispensers. Our four barns: these charming old granaries have been converted into four unique mini-apartments, ideal for a self-sufficient holiday with the comforts of La Petrosa. Each apartment spans 30 square meters across two levels. The ground floor includes a kitchenette, fridge, table with chairs, double sofa bed (suitable for children up to 12), and a first-floor bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, bathroom with shower, and small balcony. Each apartment is equipped with air conditioning and mosquito nets. Countryhouses Le Chiusarelle and Rotondella. Le Chiusarelle: cozy duplex residence, perfect for independent family or group holidays. Each flat is 62 square meters, accommodating up to 6 people. Located about 400 meters from the farmhouse, the flats feature mosquito nets, air conditioning, a large covered outdoor patio with table and chairs, and a rear terrace with a clothesline and washing area. Rotondella: surrounded by fields, they offer a peaceful retreat. The first-floor flat is 52 square meters, located about 300 meters from the farmhouse.
