The Guest House is located in an elegant apartment on the first floor of the Palazzo Valdés, an antique residence of Cagliari. Today the property is protected by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage; the art nouveau building and its intricate façade reflect the style of the period (1880). The rooms have been renovated in a modern key but respecting the classic architecture of the building. Four bedrooms each with a bathroom, LCD TV, fridge, safe, free Wi-Fi, and furnishings combing both the antique and the contemporary. There is NO extra charge for late check in, but we kindly ask you to notify us in advance Early check-in only upon availability
Hi, my name is Giorgio! I have been working as a host for almost 10 years and I try to show my Cagliari through the eyes of a Cagliari citizen. I collaborate with some tour guides who will take care of showing you the secret Cagliari, accompanying you to our wonderful beaches or taking a tour of the Sardinian wineries. I am a golfer, I have contacts with the best courses in Sardinia, with which I also organize game groups.
The Guest House is located in the district of Villanova, one of the historic districts of Cagliari. "Al Bastione di Cagliari" is located in front of the Bastione di San Remy monument and a few steps from the universities and the archaeological museum. The historic center offers museums, archaeological sites, shopping streets and many types of bars/restaurants, from the most traditional to the most sophisticated cocktail bar. Many streets of Villanova are closed to traffic and offer magnificent walks through the boutiques, restaurants and colorful houses typical of the area.
