Marone is especially known for its olive cultivation, which has earned it the nickname “City of Olive Oil”. It is the perfect destination for walking and mountain biking, with numerous trails starting from the town center and leading up to the Croce di Marone and Monte Guglielmo. The apartment is located on the road, just a 3-minute walk from the start of the spectacular Vello–Toline cycle and pedestrian path, right on the lake and away from traffic. It offers easy access for walks or bike rides, with many scenic viewpoints between the lake and the cliffs. In Marone, you can catch a ferry to Monte Isola, the largest lake island in Europe, to explore its fishing traditions or enjoy a relaxing lake cruise to admire the landscapes and historic villages. A few minutes by car you can reach Zone, famous for its erosion pyramids, and Capo di Ponte in Valle Camonica with the National Park of Rock Engravings, both UNESCO World Heritage sites. Within 15 minutes by car, the charming towns of Pisogne and Lovere (one of Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages) await with their historic palaces, towers, museums, churches, and basilicas, perfect for a cultural visit. Love fishing? A small pier is available nearby, along with a restaurant just a few meters away.
