Beautiful fourteenth century house located in the historic center of Altamura, a few steps from the Cathedral, but easy to access. The accommodation is located in a quiet street which represents one of the first inhabited centers of the city of Altamura. Consisting of a bedroom, living room-kitchen, corridor and bathroom, it is equipped with unlimited WiFi and SMART TV. In a few minutes on foot you can reach all the major points of interest in the city center. Parking is easily found in the adjacent streets.

I am Vincenzo, owner of the house, and I have restored the building, trying to preserve the original atmosphere. Giuseppe and Annamaria are my dear friends who will welcome you for check-in and who will be at your complete disposal for every need.

The accommodation is located in the medieval historic center of Altamura, characterized by pretty alleys and the so-called "claustri", small courtyards overlooking the winding streets, and which boasts a remarkable artistic heritage. The street where the house is located was recognized as one of the first urban settlements wanted by Emperor Frederick II of Swabia, founder of the city. A 5-minute walk away you can reach the superb Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, which is the only one built by the will of the emperor himself, a wonderful example of Apulian Romanesque and Frederick Gothic. Walking through the narrow streets of the center it will be easy to come across the typical scents and flavors of the city: bread, focaccia, typical pastries, mozzarella and more. In the area there are also many restaurants and trattorias offering typical dishes.
