"Maria Al Capo" apartments are located in a recently renovated three-storey building, few step away from the Capo Market and the central via Maqueda. There are three units, one per floor and with independent entrance. On the first and second floor, there are studios with double bed, kitchenette, bathroom with shower and window. On the last floor of the building, there is a larger apartment with a double bed, bigger kitchen with a nice window overlooking the city and a bathroom. All the units have a panoramic balcony overlooking via Sant'Agostino and the Collegio di Maria Al Capo. The apartments are equipped with WI-Fi, Flat TV, air conditioning. The property is ideal for those who want to spend a quiet holiday in the center of Palermo, close from the major tourist attractions of the city.
We are Vincenzo and Marta, brother and sister with a common dream. We are from Palermo and we started working in this field in 2010. In 2012, We wanted to specialize and so we left to go to London and Dubai, to experience what the world has to offer. We never stopped missing our beloved Sicily, so we decided to come back and do what we love most: hosting and making anyone who wants to visit Palermo and Sicily, feel at home. As a welcome message for our future guests I would like to use a phrase by Leonardo Sciascia. "Do you know what our life is? Yours and mine? A dream made in Sicily. Maybe we are still there and we are dreaming ......
Il Capo is an ancient and well-known district in the historic center of Palermo; with the same term the people of Palermo also indicate the market held there and with which the district identifies itself. The Capo market, together with the other Palermo markets such as Ballarò, La Vucciria, Lattarini and the Flea Market, is an important retail agro-food outlet. It is a very lively and characteristic, even folkloristic, food market: the colors, the shouts (the vuci) of the sellers, the animation of the stalls make it an essential element of the character of the city of Palermo. It is an active market every day, giving the opportunity to buy both food and other merchandise. It extends along via Carini and via Beati Paoli, via di Sant'Agostino and via Cappuccinelle.
