Art suite gallery is a holiday home with the particularity of art gallery inside the walls of the house. The design idea I conceived was to create hybrid spaces that go beyond the usual concept of home and art gallery. The furniture has been custom-made, tailored to the living spaces in order to bring out the paintings and sculptures of a well-known artist of international renown that will vary the exhibition of works of art. In the gallery houses are exhibited works of art , objects of design or furniture, as from "Artsuitegallery" where everything is for sale. Since in the home gallery works of art are placed in all the rooms, you have the opportunity to walk around the house and go from the kitchen to the bedroom, from the living room to the bathroom. The normal use of the rooms remains unaltered, but inside them there is room for the works and a welcome for the guests. The rooms change the skin, change furniture and even the colors, to adapt to exhibitions of paintings, sculptures or performances. The structure is able to offer personalized services in the field of wellness, fashion, taste, luxury and art, with special agreements.
Giovanni Belei, surveyor, designer, artistic director, propulsor in the development of tourism in coming for the enhancement of the historic center of Santa Maria a Monte, has built within its medieval village its own accommodation. Thanks to the close friendship and professional collaboration with the well-known contemporary artist Scarselli Marcello has not limited itself to the opening of a simple tourist lease, but rather to a real and proper holiday home, within which are housed works of art and sculptures from the artistic motto that ... every sign lives of its own unlimited freedom. The idea was inspired by the American examples of overseas, with the intent to recall a certain type of tourist flow level that intends to stay in Santa Maria a Monte, a strategic place to reach the classic tourist destinations such as Lucca, Pisa, Pistoia , Florence and also the Versilia, with Pietrasanta the capital and center for the processing of marble and bronze of international importance, a crossroads of world- The concept aims at an extreme goal to make Santa Maria a Monte a showcase of tourist attraction.
The building container has been designed with a minimal design in the respect and conservative restoration of the historic building built near the second circle of the Castle of Santa Maria a Monte dating back to the year 1300. Santa Maria a Monte as well as being a gem of Tuscany with excellent geographical position, barycentric between the major art cities of Florence, Lucca and Pisa in addition to the nearby Versilia is an ancient medieval village ... These characteristics have allowed me to develop the idea of turning the holiday home into a real Suite outside the usual hotel or residence accommodation but rather within a beautiful Tuscan village that can be admired all over the world. Excellent location for the achievement of art cities, seaside destinations, full immersion in food and wine tasting and slow food, fashion and shopping at boutiques and outlets of the most famous luxury brands, wellness and relaxation.
