Mugnos Charme Living B&B is a hospitality provider active in Slow Tourism and in the celebration of local culture. The owners, Francesco and Piero, are active in the valorization and promotion of their territory, typical local products and everything that comes from the land. They support good gastronomy involving small wine producers that make high-quality organic products, olive producers that make D.O.P oil from Monti Eblei, the most celebrated and appreciated over the past few years, even winning prizes, such as the oil produced with Tonda Iblea olives. Upon request, the guests of B&B Mugnos can participate in: - Guided tours of the territory: guided tours of places connected to Vega (Cavalleria Rusticana” and “Mastro Don Gesualdo); guided tours of the monuments and the necropolis present in Licodia Eubea and the archeological museum “Antonio di Vita”; - Tastings of cheese products at the B&B Mugnos or at nearby cheese producers; - Tastings of wines at the B&B Mugnos or at nearby wine producers; - Initiatives relative to the traditions, history, features, advantages to people’s health relative to the olive oil D.O.P. from Iblei mountains.

Mugnos B&B is managed by Francesco Frazzetto e Piero Verre. Francesco has notable experience in the marketing and tourism hospitality sectors. He is also a passionate artist, and for over 20 years, he has been painting and creating artistic artworks. Piero works as interior designer. He is highly creative also in the reutilization of neglected objects: after a short period, this interest turned into an actual life style. The two owners met each other in 2010 and they immediately started working together on the project of creating a tourism facility. They set out to create something that, in addition to authentic and warm hospitality, in addition to attention to detail in the furnishing and comforts, there also be a careful cleaning and hygiene that could transmit with enthusiasm to its guests the knowledge of traditions and local products and the valorization of the whole territory.

Thanks to its strategic position, Mugnos B&B Charme Living offers the possibility to visit the vast and rich territory full of cultural resources that inspired the great writer Giovanni Verga to write many novellas. There are numerous destinations for tourism focused on wine and food that are full of events, feasts and folk celebrations in the surrounding areas. Amongst the most relevant products of the area are extra virgin olive oil, wine, grapes and almonds. Of particular interest is the representation organized for Easter where evocative processions and old chanting commemorate Christ’s passion, thereby making Licodia Eubea an interesting historical and religious destination. Mugnos B&B is located in Licodia Eubea, in the center of the southern-eastern part of Sicily, a destination strictly connected to the places narrated by Verga and to the Cavalleria Rusticana in Vizzini. Caltagirone, where travelers can find the beautiful ceramics made by expert masters, is not far. Further north, but still nearby, it is possible to visit Mineo, homeland to Luigi Capuana and Miltello in Val di Catania, full of churches, monasteries and museums.
