The stone building is located in a small Tuscan village, Belvedere, 2 Km from Suvereto (L). Is built in 1600 by the nobles of Suvereto fleeing to unhealthy air (malaria) that was in the area. There are 7 apartments from studios to two-room and three-room suites with the large bedrooms lettoe kitchens. Some apartments have a fireplace. The style is typical Tuscan, with terracotta floors and wooden window frames.
I am an architect who fell in love with the village and the Palace, so when I was asked by running this facility property I could not say no. The small lookout welcomed me and adopted. I have been here a breath of serenity and calm air that makes me happy.
We are at the top of the Tuscan Maremma where the hills meet the sea ... and get married with the islands. Look out the windows and see the Island Elba, which looks at you. Blue and green embracing. Here you can go hiking in the countryside and the Mediterranean, visiting villages, Suvereto, Campiglia Marittima, Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri, Massa Marittima, Volterra. The arts cities are just a few kilometers, Siena, Pisa and Florence. The embarkation for the Elba Island is 20km (Piombino) the Etruscan coast with the Gulf of Populonia and its archaeological excavations is nearby. Here you can find among the best farms in the area, with excellent wine cellars and excellent wines. The cellars of the author are within walking distance.
