Borgo Maria Rosa, with more than 100 years of history, is nestled in the quietness of the Nebrodi mountains. Here, time slows down between the warmth of the fireplace, the open mountain views and the simple rhythms of the Sicilian countryside. It is ideal for those looking for an authentic place, far from mass tourism. Just a few minutes from both the sea and the mountains, it is perfect for guests who enjoy the freedom to choose between relaxation, nature and outdoor excursions.
This house belongs to my maternal grandmother Maria Rosa (105 years old) and was carefully restored by my father, following my mother’s wishes and preserving its original soul. We welcome guests as true hosts would, with simplicity and care, making you feel part of a family rather than just customers.
The house is located in a small, quiet hamlet surrounded by nature and away from traffic, ideal for those seeking peace and authenticity. The access road is private-like and rarely used, contributing to a relaxed and familiar atmosphere. In front of the house there is a fully organic vegetable garden, enhancing the feeling of living in a small village with simple and genuine rhythms. The few nearby neighbours are discreet and helpful, maintaining a peaceful environment. The town centre is just a few minutes away by car, where you can find bars, restaurants and essential services. We also collaborate with selected local businesses, including a pizzeria, a trusted café and nearby restaurants, as well as a transfer and car rental service with excellent local rates. The location is ideal for exploring both the sea and the mountains, offering the freedom to combine relaxation, nature and excursions.
