The Borgo Pasqui structure is immersed in nature, in the medieval village of Diano Castello with an enchanting sea view, where you can spend a holiday dedicated to total relaxation. The complex was founded in 1901, originally it was a farm specialized in the cultivation of artichokes and broad beans and occupied the entire valley. The residence purchased in the early 90s has recently undergone a major renovation aimed at maintaining the soul of the original complex. Borgo Pasqui was born from the desire to offer a structure that makes relaxation and multiple services its strong point. The three "Le Dimore del Borgo" apartments (La Lona, Il Belvedere, and La Corte) are located in the beautiful village of Diano Castello, 600 meters from the main property. The village was built around the 10th century, with the name of Castrum Diani, as a place of defense against the incursions of Saracen pirates. At the beginning of the 11th century it became the domain of the Clavesana family until 1170 when it was established as a free municipality. It subsequently became part of the dominions of the Republic of Genoa which supplied men and equipment in the famous battle of Meloria in 1284 which saw the defeat of Pisa to the advantage of Genoese supremacy in the Mediterranean Sea. In medieval times, the Comunitas Diani was established, an independent union of the main villages of the Dianese valley. With the decline of pirate attacks and the consequent growth of the various communities on the coast, the village of Diano Castello saw a sharp decline in the castle population. With the earthquake of 1887, 32 of its inhabitants lost their lives and the village suffered considerable structural damage to its houses and artistic monuments.
