A beautiful and rustic escape. It’s a former convent and now 200-year family owned farm and vineyard, with only a few select rooms. Beautifully restored and not touristy, the perfect retreat. The breakfast was divine!

Breakfast & host were wonderful - location is beautiful very scenic & rustic with modern room and bathrooms - property could use warmth - some music, a little more light in the common areas perhaps a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival?

We had a fabulous stay. Location is great, there is loads of space for the kids to roam around and the area in front of the entrance is perfect to relax and enjoy a glass (read: bottle) of Prosecco. In the end our trip included a little adventure,...

Company info

My name is Francesco, and I manage Tenuta Malvolti together with my mother, Gloria, and my brother, Alberto. Four years ago, we fulfilled one of our greatest dreams: bringing our family's old agriturismo back to life. This place has belonged to our family for nearly 200 years. Once a well-known restaurant, it remained closed for almost a decade before we carefully restored it, preserving its authentic character while giving it a new future. Today, we are proud to share not only this historic former convent, but also our family's story and our way of life. Beyond hospitality, we have always been farmers, dedicating ourselves to viticulture and the production of Prosecco. Our vineyards, fruit trees and friendly farm animals are all part of the experience we hope you'll enjoy during your stay. Above all, we hope your time here becomes an opportunity to slow down. In a world that moves faster every day and where the countryside is increasingly abandoned, we believe places like this offer something truly special. Here, you can wake up to birdsong, walk through the vineyards, spend time with our animals, enjoy the silence of the evening, watch the fire crackle in the fireplace, or, on warm summer nights, be enchanted by the fireflies that still light up our hills. To us, this is the true meaning of slow living: rediscovering the beauty of simple things, taking time for yourself and reconnecting with nature, your loved ones, and ultimately with yourself. If you leave Tenuta Malvolti with beautiful memories of this land and a renewed appreciation for life's simple pleasures, then we will know we have shared with you the true spirit of this special place.

Property info

Tenuta Malvolti is nestled in the heart of the UNESCO-listed Prosecco Hills, within a beautifully restored 17th-century former convent surrounded by our 100-acre family estate. Our estate is primarily dedicated to viticulture, where we cultivate the grapes used to produce Prosecco, but it is also home to fruit trees, farm animals and peaceful natural surroundings that make this place truly unique. Carefully restored while preserving its original character and historic charm, the convent now offers five comfortable guest rooms with private bathrooms and breakfast included. Perched on one of the most panoramic hills in the area, the property enjoys breathtaking views over the vineyards and the rolling landscape of the Conegliano Prosecco Hills. Guests are welcome to enjoy several shared spaces, including a cosy living room with an original circular fireplace, a breakfast room with fireplace (also suitable as a workspace or meeting room), a covered porch with lounge seating, a pergola, and scenic walking paths through vineyards and countryside. During your stay, you will also have the chance to meet the friendly animals that live on our estate, including ponies, donkeys and goats. We also regularly offer guided tours of our estate, where guests can learn more about our vineyards, our history and our family business. One of the highlights of the tour is our historic Venetian villa, located in the heart of the estate and reachable with a pleasant 10-minute walk through the vineyards. Guests are welcome to join us on a guided walk or explore the route independently at their own pace. It is the perfect place to slow down, reconnect with nature and experience the authentic atmosphere of the Prosecco Hills, while also serving as an ideal base for exploring this extraordinary region.

Nestled in the heart of the UNESCO-listed Prosecco Hills, Tenuta Malvolti is the ideal starting point for exploring the birthplace of Prosecco. We have created a scenic circular driving itinerary leading to Valdobbiadene along panoramic roads through vineyards, historic villages, spectacular viewpoints and family-run wineries, allowing you to experience the true soul of this unique landscape.
