Named after one of best varieties of small mandarin (Citrus mitis), Casa Calamondino is in the pedestrian zone of the old town, in an historical building (without elevator), just behind Palazzo San Michele, an ancient convent now hosting the lyric theatre foundation of Bari, and steps from the iconic Piazza del Ferrarese. Here, you’ll find a cozy yet authentic place to feel like home in Bari!

Ruggiero and Luciano spent years abroad, before coming back to their roots in Apulia. Table, interiors and art lovers, they welcome their guests makin sure they never miss dedication, fresh flowers and attentions.

Located in the old town of Bari Vecchia, you’re steps away from the iconic Piazza del Ferrarese, the Margherita theatre (built on stilts in the water). In a short walk through the stone-paved alleys you’ll be at the St. Nicholas church, the St. Sabinus Cathedral and the Castle. Walking to the Quartiere Murattiano (the new part of the city built by king of Naples in the XIX century), you’ll find the fashion street via Sparàno, the Petruzzelli theatre, the Aquedotto Pugliese, the Palazzo della Provincia with its art collections, and many more landmarks.
