First off, the location was great. We loved being on the water but with access to the historic center (everything was walkable). The hotel office staff were very communicative and helped us figure out the free parking situation. They have a golf cart they use to shuttle guests and luggage to and from nearby parking spots located just outside the old town center. The size, cleanliness, and comfort of the bedroom and bathroom scored high for us. The bed (a true king) was very comfortable, and the double sinks in the bathroom were a big bonus. The amenities in the room, like water, slippers, bathrobes, and even scale were also really appreciated. The breakfast was perhaps the most special, with warm/friendly restaurant staff and homemade cakes, savory dishes, and delicious coffee. We were lucky to get the window seat that looked out onto the ocean all the mornings of our visit. I should note that, due to the time of year, their rooftop restaurant was closed and the outdoor pool, while filled, didn't appeal for obvious reasons. However, I can imagine these facilities being a special part of a visit at another time.

Beautiful villa close to the beach. Very clean and modern. The grounds are beautiful. Staff at the hotel were kind. They prepared espresso for us in the morning and also had some pastries the first morning we arrived. They also helped us book chairs at the beach and invited us to have drinks at their other property in Polignano a Mare.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The building and its gardens are beautiful, large and spacious. The pool seemed to be nice as well but it wasn’t open yet in April. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place. Maybe it gets more busy in summer time. We visited most of the towns nearby, the hotel is well positioned, so the most we have driven was an hour down to Lecce. But you will need a car if you want to get around, as this hotel is outside of Monopoly in a rural area surrounded by very old olive trees.

Great little town.

Great little town. Nice restaurants, lively Centro Storico with music at night. Lots of walking. Mostly enjoyable. The marina is so nice too. We had a boat trip to Polignano a Mare scheduled but due to very windy conditions it was canceled. Our BnB rental was disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it. It was a tiny room, tiny fridge, not worth the money. We couldn't even keep our suitcases open for easy access. So small. Plus in the description on Booking.com there were things listed that were just not true.. Also, the check-in situation was not good. The location was very good for access to enotecas, restaurants and the town center. Not good location for luggage being dragged through the streets of cobblestone to get there. And then the company that checks you in had us go to them, which was very inconvenient. It was extremely hot and our GPS wasn't accurate and they didn't even offer help. But, I would go back to Monopoli. Just not at Dimora Pietrabianca.

Monopoli is an absolutely stunning place to visit. The old town is beautiful and the beaches are out of this world! We were only there for a few days but loved every single minute of our stay. It was extremely hot during our stay but being so close to the beach was the perfect way to cool down.

Monopoli and Polignano al Mare are beautiful places to visit. This area of Puglia is rich with beautiful towns each providing specialty foods and beautiful vistas. The people in the area were very friendly and ready to give advise on what to visit, where to eat and where to park.

Monopoli is a fantastic destination for anyone who loves the atmosphere of authentic Italian towns. Its impressive historic center, beautiful old harbor, charming cathedral, and maze of narrow streets create a unique and unforgettable setting. Around every corner you'll find picturesque alleys, cozy cafés, restaurants, and hidden spots full of character. The town is especially magical in the evening, when the streets come alive and it becomes the perfect place for a relaxing walk. Another great advantage of Monopoli is its coastline. Both in the town itself and in the surrounding area, there are many beautiful beaches to choose from, including sandy beaches as well as rocky and stone coves. Whether you prefer fully equipped beach clubs or quieter public beaches, everyone can find a place that suits their preferences. Monopoli is an excellent combination of history, authentic Italian charm, and seaside relaxation.

Monopoli is one of the most beautiful towns in Puglia. The historic center is charming, full of narrow streets, lovely squares, great restaurants, cafés, and small shops. Everything is within walking distance, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The beaches are beautiful, the sea is crystal clear, and the town is an excellent base for visiting nearby places such as Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, and Bari. We would definitely love to come back.

Monopoli is great! Beautiful buildings and views of the sea. We loved wandering the old town alleys and swimming at the beaches- went to most of them. Calla Verde was my favourite. There are so many good restaurants and delicious seafood, gelato and coffee! A very popular holiday destination.

This was easily our best accommodation of our time in Puglia. Early contact from the host, Apulife, 24 hours before our arrival, arranging to pick us up from Monopoli train station, and an early check-in. Apartment was beautiful, fresh, clean, and fantastic location. A responsive and quick resolution to experiencing no hot water on first night - was fixed very quickly. Kitchen facilities were perfect with washing machine, and lovely spa toiletries in bathroom.

Clean rooms, good breakfast, Puglia vibe, strategic position for visiting the best spots around Monopoli. Thanks also to the host Giovanni who helped us with check in and give us all the information needed for this short stay. Highly recommended !

Perfectly located. Apartment ideal lots of space and best sleep so far we’ve had in Italy. The communication from Gianni was superb with complete instructions on how find the unit and check in. Roof top terrace was an added bonus and availability of washing machine was handy. Absolutely recommend this to anyone staying in Monopoli.
