We live in the village Acquarossa for many years, we like to live surrounded by nature and we like to welcome guests with the intent to spend moments of peace and relaxation. We are pleased to welcome you and provide all the information you need to enjoy a simple and wonderful stay surrounded by nature and close to the forest. In the house you will find our book with all the information you need to live the house and the hamlet, you will have at your disposal maps of trails to discover and places to visit. We want the people who come to visit us to have the opportunity to discover a precious part of our territory and read an important chapter of its history. At the Borgata Acquarossa were the partisans of the 17th Brigata Garibaldi "F.Cima" led by the commander Deo Tonani. Here we breathe history and we try to keep alive its memory. An expensive, tiring and even uneconomic work, but that we carry on despite the efforts. We hope to be encouraged by the enthusiasm of the people who will come to visit us.

The village is located at 1000 m asl. , for a stay immersed in nature where in the cold seasons you are warmed by the warmth of the fireplace, and you can listen to the voice of the forest in wild conversations with the wind. In the summer when the city gets hot, and the temperatures take away the strength and make the days a real hell, the mountain becomes the right destination to escape and we find the refreshment you need. You will experience a familiar and welcoming atmosphere. The house is located about 4.5 km from the center of Rubiana, to reach it you can take a scenic road passing by the provincial road ( the last 2 km the road crosses the woods then narrows a little) alternatively there is a municipal road shorter but also more challenging , whose last 2 km consist of a narrow road and paved with a decent slope (up to 20%), but this will not distract you from watching roe deer or foxes surrounded by nature. The property is equipped with an electric vehicle charging station with a maximum charging power of up to 3 kW.

The house is located in a small village close to the forest. It is located at a height of 1000m. Hiking trails start directly from the house. To get to us you need a car, it is not served by public transport. If necessary you can reach Avigliana by train or by bus to Rubiana and we are available to pick you up. Parking is free and is located a few meters from the house. The Colle del Lys Park is a 5-minute drive from the house or with a walk of about an hour. General store In the village there are no shops in any way with a nice walk of 20 minutes, walk in the woods, you can find, following the signs for Mompellato, the bakery "forno di Mompellato", famous for bread and breadsticks cooked in wood, the typical biscuits "le paste’d melia" and other mountain specialties as well as cheese and more. In the village of Rubiana there are some grocery shops, a well-stocked tobacco shop and a newsstand. On Sunday morning, in the square in Rubiana, there is the market of local producers who sell cheeses produced in the area, honey and biscuits, cakes and jams, all genuine and fresh products. Restaurants/trattorias In the area there are some taverns and the Rifugio Colle del Lys where you can enjoy great food. You will find in the book of the house all information necessary.
