Casa del Pittore is a typical Mantova’s hous, it was built in second half of 1400. The house was the right wing of the Gonzaga’s palace, destroyed at the beginning of 1900. The house it’s frescoed by Mantegna’s style with friezes and decorated oak wooden beam ceiling. The house is registered as historical monument. Authorization from Mantova’s council 1632

Casa del Pittore is in a ideal location in the city center of Mantova. Palazzo Te, Palazzo Ducale, Basilica di S. Andrea can be reach in 10/15 minutes walking. In few minutes walking from the B&B there are nice trattorie. Next door there are: laundry service, pharmacy, café, supermarket, gastronomy shops.
