Cavalese is located in Val di Fiemme, in Trentino-Alto Adige, at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level. Those who have never been there usually know Cavalese for the famous Marcialonga, a very important international cross-country ski race that takes place every year on the last Sunday of January. About 8,000 athletes from all over the world participate. Cavalese is an Italian town of 4 084 inhabitants in the autonomous province of Trento. It is part of the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme and is the administrative, cultural and historical center of the Fiemme Valley. Cavalese is a gem nestled in the Dolomites, where you can relax among ancient buildings and play sports both in summer and in winter.
