I lived abroad for 30 years, working as a professional translator. Since 2020, I have returned to my native land to live in this slice of heaven in the Tuscan countryside and host guests, offering cooking classes, art and history workshops, and much more.

This is a private home offering rooms for rent and two independent self-catering apartments, rather than a hotel or resort. The atmosphere is therefore personal, peaceful and informal, with the opportunity to experience a traditional Tuscan house and the surrounding countryside at your own pace. The property is set among olive trees and gardens, with plenty of outdoor space and our animals adding to the character of the place. It is intended for guests who appreciate space, authenticity, privacy and the slower rhythm of rural Tuscany, rather than a conventional hotel experience. Accommodation The two independent apartments have their own entrance, kitchen and living facilities, allowing guests to be completely self-sufficient during their stay. For guests staying in the rooms, Casa Ezio Marchi offers comfortable private rooms with private bathrooms within the main house. The house is not operated as a hotel, and services are therefore different from those normally found in a hotel or resort. Breakfast & Food continental For guests staying in the rooms, the breakfast provided includes items such as: coffee and tea bread butter jam cereals biscuits yoghurt fresh fruit This is a Continental breakfast, not a full cooked English or American breakfast. Eggs, cheese, cold meats and other additional items can be provided by arrangement and may incur a supplement. Guests staying in the two self-catering apartments have breakfast items provided so that they can prepare breakfast themselves in the privacy of their own kitchen. Housekeeping & Services Because Casa Ezio Marchi is a private home with rooms and self-catering accommodation, it does not operate with the daily hotel housekeeping model. The house is located on a quiet lane just outside the historic centre of Bettolle. From the property, you can enjoy wide, picturesque views that stretch across the Tuscan landscape, encompassing Bettolle, Cortona, Montepulciano, Montefollonico, Cetona, Mount Amiata and beyond. Around the house grow olive trees, fig trees, and other typical plants of the local countryside, creating a relaxing and authentic atmosphere.
